Parma Ham with Melon

A starter for four persons
Ingredients 8 Slices of ripe Galia Melon 12 Slices of Prosciutto (Parma Ham) Method Slice the melon length-wise in half discard the seeds and filament; cut into wedge shaped slices and remove the rind. Spread most of the meat onto a large platter and arrange the melon slices around the edge wrapping the occasional slice of melon with a slice of ham. Alternatively put two slices of melon on each of four individual plates and wrap each slice with a piece of ham and then drape a piece of ham across the two slices. It is imperative that the melon is ripe. As an alternative you can add a fig for each person as well |
