{"id":633,"date":"2017-07-24T18:24:00","date_gmt":"2017-07-24T17:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.933.me.uk\/wordpress\/?p=633"},"modified":"2024-05-13T11:50:11","modified_gmt":"2024-05-13T10:50:11","slug":"saltimbocca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.933.me.uk\/wordpress\/2017\/07\/24\/saltimbocca\/","title":{"rendered":"Saltimbocca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>(Literally &#8216;jump in the mouth&#8217;)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 Veal Cutlets<\/li>\n<li>8 Slices of Prosciutto<\/li>\n<li>8 Sage Leaves<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup of butter<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; Fresh ground pepper<\/li>\n<li>Dry white wine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pound the cutlets with a meat-bat until very thin. Lay a slice of prosciutto and a sage leaf on each cutlet and secure with a toothpick.<\/p>\n<p>Heat the butter in a wide skillet and add the cutlets brown on both sides over a high heat adding a pinch of salt, pepper and a few tablespoons of wine.<\/p>\n<p>Cook till the wine has evaporated but for no more than 5 mins.
